Chris is an American photographer based out of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, whose work is largely inspired by his great love for the ocean and the outdoors. After graduating from North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Chris lived and worked in Amsterdam, where he began his career in photography and has since travelled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Central America, and Asia.
He has been commissioned to produce official travel guides for cities such as Washington, D.C. and Honolulu, Oahu, as well as campaigns for the National Park Service, tourism bureaus, and resorts. His work is recognized for its authenticity, which is seen as a result of him throwing himself fully into any assignment or personal project he takes on.
Chris' wanderlust has taken him trekking 1000+ kilometers across the Iberian Peninsula from France along the Northern Coast of Spain with nothing but a backpack and camera, eating scorpions in Beijing's night markets, venturing out into the Sahara desert to experience the Great Pyramids from an isolated perspective, and surfing north of the Arctic Circle in Norway.
Chris believes that once everything is pared down to bare bones, all that's left are the experiences and relationships we have with other people- we better make them good and we better make them meaningful.
Let's get together and make something beautiful and real.
